HometownQuotes was created, completely self-funded and is privately-owned by two insurance agents in 2003.

Their goal was two-fold:
1) Help consumers. Quickly and easily connect consumers looking for insurance quotes with local, hometown insurance agents.

2) Help agents. Utilize technology to provide quality, real-time quoting opportunities for insurance agents.

During its first two years, the company operated out of a bonus room above Chief Financial Officer Bob Klee’s garage. HometownQuotes moved to its first official office location in 2006 and continues to acquire office area and add team members as the company grows.

Since 2003, HometownQuotes has connected millions of consumers with thousands of insurance agents across the country.

HometownQuotes has been recognized for its growth and entrepreneurial drive by Inc. magazine, the Nashville Business Journal and BusinessTN magazine.
