Matt McWilliams, Chief Operating Officer Matt McWilliams works day-to-day as the Chief Operating Officer and Affiliate Director for HometownQuotes. He began his career with HometownQuotes in 2003 as the technology and design consultant. He moved to the affiliate department in 2006 where he manages more than 100 active affiliates. Under McWilliams’s administration the department has launched into a projected $6 million division. The top three affiliates average $64,000 each per month. While most insurance quoting companies pay affiliates monthly, McWilliams sees that HometownQuotes’ affiliates are paid weekly. McWilliams and Affiliate Assistant Paul Cuiffo recruit, assist and educate affiliates, doing everything they can to drive affiliates’ sales. Prior to HometownQuotes, McWilliams opened Fast Lane Consulting, an online political consulting firm. With Fast Lane Consulting he designed and managed more than 35 online campaigns that included fundraising, email campaigns, web site design, volunteer coordinating, online marketing and public relations. His clients ranged from 20-year veteran Congressmen to first-time candidates. He recently started a charitable foundation in his father’s name to raise money for Lou Gehrig’s Disease research. McWilliams attended the University of Tennessee on a golf scholarship, was ranked 14th in the country and played professionally for two years before an injury ended his career. McWilliams is single, does not have children and resides in Spring Hill, TN where he enjoys golfing and watching sports. |
