Bob Klee, Chief Financial Officer Bob Klee is the Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of HometownQuotes. Using his background in finance and his passion for technology, Klee keeps HometownQuotes at the top of its game by overseeing the billing department, accounting and general finances. Klee takes care of acquisitions and manages money between HometownQuotes’ departments. In addition to managing the company’s cash flow, Klee translates the company’s analytics and prescribes operating plans for the departments that need improved efficiency. Klee attended Missouri State University for two years, then transferred to California State University at Long Beach, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance. After receiving his degree, Klee bought a motorcycle dealership in 1984 and it was shortly after this venture that he became licensed in insurance so he could sell insurance at his motorcycle business. Klee’s performance as CFO is a testament to his experience in the financial industry. Prior to HometownQuotes, he started three insurance agencies in three states since beginning in 1993. He has received many awards in his 20+ years in the insurance industry – including Rookie Agent of the Year, consistently producing in the top 15 percent of Allstate agencies nationwide, winning their National Conference Award six times, as well as numerous other awards. He holds the LUTCF designation and has taught LUTC classes in KY & TN. He has also earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. When Klee is not balancing the books, he enjoys music, reading and swimming. He is married with four grown children. |
